A few of my hobbies are described below.
 | Music - I am more into soft melodious stuffs and
I hate hard metals. I am more into Indian music and haven't yet
developed a great taste of the west. My favorite singer of all time is
Lata Mangeshkar. I like bhajans, little bit classicals too (like Anup
Jalota), ghazals, even instrumentals, but not qawaalis. Old romantic
and soft music is my favorite. Currently I boast of having a
collection of more than 10GBs of mp3 collections of hindi music. |

Sports - I am particularly passionate about
Cricket. And yeah, no prizes
for guessing my favorite cricketer, its the
little genius. Will pay anything to watch him bat. This apart,
I also love to watch Soccer and
Tennis,
but restricted only to some major tourneys.
Diego Maradona and
Steffi Graf are my all time
favorites.

| Movies - This is a new habit I've picked up after
I came to US. A nice way to pass one's time and have some fun too :)
I like comedy and romantic ones and try to keep myself away from
actions. Among the favorites, Amitabh Bachchan, Tom Cruise, Amol
Palekar, Utpal Dutt, and Julia Roberts. |
| Cards - This has been dormant since last three
years because of unavailability of members and partners. More of a
domestic player than a professional one. Like to play for fun, and
play all sorts of games like bridge, spades, patience, and so on. |
| Long Drives - Again I have started liking this
after I came to US. Its so difficult to enjoy long drives on Indian
roads! |
