About Myself ....

I came to Stony Brook in Fall 1996 to work on my PhD with Prof.Tzi-Cker Chiueh. Here's a cool picture of him with his little daughter Dana !

Before coming here, I went to college at The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. I now work for IBM Research in upstate NY. All these years, spent in getting from the ocean (Atlantic) to the river (Hudson). You would think it should be the other way round, and should have taken just 2 hours ;-)

When automobiles drive me nuts, hiking and music help restore sanity. Megha and Damini sometimes help, sometimes they make it worse ;-)

Click here to reach IIT Delhi's Class of 96 home page and my friends through those memorable four years... Here's a group photograph of the whole gang .....

Thoughts ......

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."(Mahatma Gandhi)

"I remain an optimist, not that there is any evidence that I can give that right is going to prosper, but because of my unflinching faith that right must prosper in the end..... Our inspiration can come only from our faith that right must ultimately prevail."(Mahatma Gandhi)
