IPhone is a
pen-based data referencing phone and also a regular phone. This system
is distinguished by its low cost, portability, and practicability.
When Data Phone is used as an intelligent data conferencing phone, the users
can talk over the phone line, and do annotation on the screen of their
handheld computer simultaneously. The annotation will appear on both parties'
screens, and all activities on the screen are synchronized.

Variorum is
one of the first, if not the first, software documentation system that
allows program authors to record the process of "walking through" their
own code using multimedia technology, specifically, text, audio, and digital
pen drawing. Variorum is designed to inter-operate with the WWW technology,
in that the program source code files and their annotations are stored
on web servers and directly accessible via commercial web browsers such
as Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
